Meridian Qi Acupuncture

9 - Star Qi Acupuncture Examples

Please Note: 9 Star Qi birth Data was used to discover which meridians were likely to be affected by emotional disturbances, which in turn are responsible for ill health.
The individual nature of excess / deficiency in the relevant Meridians was diagnosed by the use of Qi Energy testing. This was followed by finding out which exact acupuncture points were blocked in terms of Qi energy flow, again by testing with Qi energy.
The above method does not preclude traditional methods of diagnosis, on the contrary, it significantly enhances overall accuracy.

Patients whose date of birth translates into 2-9-7 in 9 Star Qi

1st. Patient : Male 2- 9 -7 ( SPLEEN - HE/SI/SJ/P - LUNGS)

Main Complaints: Tight Chest feel unable to take dep breaths at times. Feel as through there is a weight on my chest that stops me from breathing sometimes accompanied with pains around chest. Breathlessness / shortness of breath.Panic attacks

Others symptoms: Difficulty sleeping takes me all day to wake up , heavy body, hay fever since 11 years old. Bloated, excessive appetite cant put any weight on (he looks fine to me)Thirst without a desire to drink. Alcohol and dope makes tightness a lot worse. Changeable bowels

Initial Qi Energy test: Deficient LUNGS(l) +3(r) +2/ Excess SPLEEN Y

1st. Treatment
(1)Sedate (r) SP-7, SP-10. (l) SP-1, SP-4. Reports- very relaxing.
(2) Tonify (r) LU-1,. (l) LU-9, LU-11
Reports: "It doesn't hurt when I breathe deeply now and I feel a bit brighter. I feel like I want to go for a run. Legs feel light. I feel more alert."
NOTE: at the end I also taught him how to breathe by releasing the diapghram and set him up to do the exercise for at least 10 minutes every day.

2nd Treatment - a day later
Reports:
"Breathing is better but still tight."

Energy Test Sedate SPLEEN Y
(1)Sedate (r)SP-1, SP-6. (l)SP-16.
Energy Test LUNGS (r)+3 (l) even
(2)Tonify (r) LU-1, LU-4.

Reports: Feel good in self, Feel more open inside chest, Had felt tired before Tx. Good now.

3rd Treatment - two days later
Reports:
"Don't feel as tired . Falling sleep a lot easier. Still a bit of tightness in the chest but a lot better."

Since P-6 is reputed to be good for emotional, chi stagnation in the chest . I thought Iwould try energetic to find out if it would be appropiate in this circumstance. NOPE with this patient it would have been a mistake had I sedated P-6 either l or r. Which to my mind rather proves one must choose points accurately, not just by general theory.

(1)Tonify (r) LU-6, LU-9. (l) Lu-7
(2)Tonify (r) BL-13, BL-37
Reports: "I feel that my Legs feel better. Something has mellowed inside me"

NOTE: This 3 tx were done over a period of 4 days as patient is going abroad for 4 months.
