Salvador has been training and practising in Alternative Therapies and Healing for over twenty fiveyears. He has trained in both of the traditional schools of Acupuncture, and is the founder of the Meridian Qi Acupuncture System of Healing..

What is Meridian Qi Acupuncture?

Traditionally, Acupuncture has two main theoretical frameworks, TCM and 5 Elements. TCM acupuncture evolved from a diagnostic framework to select appropriate herbs for healing and is largely symptoms based, whereas 5 Element Acupuncture recognized that emotional disharmony is at the core of a large percentage of modern illnesses, and developed a theoretical framework to treat at that level.

Meridian Qi Acupuncture actively incorporates the insights of T.C.M,  5 Elements and Chinese Lunar astrology. It also dynamically works with the ebb and flow of Qi (the body’s natural energy) to facilitate diagnosis and to find appropriate acupuncture points

His research and the amazing results he has achieved with his patients has led him to formulate new theoretical concepts in the realm of illness and acupuncture meridians which are easily verified. As well as new diagnostic tools, all of which come under the umbrella of Meridian Qi Acupuncture System of Healing.

It is his aim to disseminate this information to the acupuncturist community, as well as to other therapists that works with Acupuncture Meridians such as Tui Na , Qi Kung Therapy, Shiatsu and Chi Nei Tsang.
